CHUMPFixL is a larger variant of the popular CHUMPFix
The benefits of the CHUMPFixL are the longer and wider plate to now work with larger fittings and easier plasterboard repairs.
An additional feature is a snap-off section on the wings of the plate. This allows for the CHUMPFixL to have three lengths, 25cm, 22cm and 19cm.
The second square is useful for the temporary hanging of light fittings during second fix. Temporarily hanging the light fitting from the ceiling allows for both hands to be used second fixing. This can provide a huge timesaving option while also making the installation of heavier lights significantly easier and more professional.
With a greater sized plate the weight of the fitting is now spread across a greater area of plasterboard to allow for both larger fittings and greater weight transfer to the plasterboard.
