FLOOR-TITE® 4.2 x 45mm Pz Countersunk Screw - Blue (Box of 200)
The ultimate flooring screw eliminates squeaky boards. Floor-Tite® has been developed to meet the needs of those working with fibre and wooden floor boarding. It provides a flush and neat fix without causing damage to the flooring board and ensures squeaky boards are a thing of the past. When the boards are walked upon, Floor-Tite®’s Tri-LockÔ shank teamed with a coarse thread, locks into the substrate, ensuring they will not work loose, so once in, they stay in. Floor-Tite® is manufactured in two different lengths 45mm and 55mm to match most fibre boards available on the market. Unlike traditional nails, once installed Floor-Tite® can easily be removed without causing damage to the boards. FLOOR-TITE® BENEFITS: § DESIGNED FOR ALL FIBRE & WOOD FLOORBOARDING Ideal for all types of flooring including softwood, fibreboard and hardwood. § CLEAN, FLUSH FINISH, SELF COUNTERSINKING Underhead ribs self-countersink providing a neat, flush fix, whilst a double collar provides extra strength. § PREVENTS JACKING APART OF BOARDS Partial thread prevents jacking on installation even without a pilot hole. § TRI-LOCK™️ THREAD FOR A SOLID FIX. 3 flats on the thread initially expand the material for a fast, reduced friction drive, the material then contracts around the screw ensuring boards stay in place. § CPT HARDENED – STRONG AS A BOLT, HELPS PREVENT SNAPPING Specifically developed so the screw will not break as the flooring flexes under use. § 2 THREADS, 1 SCREW – TS THREAD SYSTEM 1. TWIN THREAD TIP breaks the dense surface of the board without damage & with an immediate start. 2. SINGLE COARSE THREAD eliminates reaming of the boards and offers a high pull out retention.
